Cold carbonated soft drink may not be so cool after all.

Carbonated soft drinks contain phosphoric acid, citric acid, malic acid, carbonic acids.
The citric acid and malic acid do not have the same properties as the natural ones present in the fruits. These are acidic and can cause PH imbalance in the body. The body has to release calcium from the bones to neutralize the extra acids. In the long run, this will lead to ostreoporosis. Soft drinks also contain high amount of sugar. High pure sugar content causes the body to crave for food as there are no other essential nutrients. This may cause an individual to become overweight. Some may even contain caffeine coal tar derivatives , which is carcogenic . When taken together with food, soft drinks can lead to fermentation instead of digestion in the body.
