Scientific Name: Thiamine
Characteristic: water soluble. With mild diuretic effect.
RDA:
- 1.2-1.4 mg for adult;
- 1.4 mg during lactation and pregnancy.
- More while undergoing operation or during sickness.

- Promote growth.
- Help in the digestion of carbohydrates.
- Promote healthiness of mental health.
- Maintain normal function of nerves, muscles and heart.
